Good morning friends! It’s a bright and sunny day here in London, so I figured a powering smoothie recipe would be perfect for kicking off the day! Let’s get right to it.
We’ve always been big fans of the Power Smoothie from Panera back in the States, but since that isn’t an option any more (and they are expensive) recreating the recipe was on high on my to-do list. Plus Jackson absolutely loves them so that helps too!
Be Green Smoothie
1 apple sliced (I keep the skin, just make sure to wash thoroughly)
1 cup of spinach
1/2 cup of mango
1/2 scoop of protein powder
Splash of whole milk
Place all ingredients into the blender container and attach blade cap. Lock into the blender base and purée! Really it is that simple! Once everything is blended remove and pour into your favorite cup or glass.
We love the Lollacup and so does Jackson. It’s easy for him to hold and the straw allows him to drink his smoothies with ease!
You can substitution fresh/frozen for any of the above ingredients or try your own combination. I sometimes switch the mango for pineapple and love the tangy taste!
Hope you and your kiddos all enjoy this easy and delicious smoothie!
